Protection

Being protected while you’re in Antarctica is necessary. If you’ve never been to Antarctica before, you’ll need to be aware of the intense ultraviolet light which can harm us if we’re not protected. To ensure you are protected, don’t forget to bring a pair of sunglasses.

Did you know that visiting Antarctica doesn’t require any visa? You’ll only need to bring the necessary documents including your passport and your health insurance. If you’re travelling by cruise, you will still need to bring your travel documents.

The prices of booking a cruise can range from £3000-£4000 depending on how long you will be staying and which months you are visiting. If the price is too high for your budget, we recommend booking your cruise last minute as these types of booking can dramatically cut down your cost by thousands! However last minute booking means that you will have to be flexible in that month you are travelling.

When booking a package deal with a cruise, make sure that you check which costs are included in the package. All package varies on what’s included. For instance, some cruise package only allows you stay on the cruise without stepping foot in Antarctica. Always check that your package will let you explore everything in Antarctica!
